DESCRIPTION: SC-130 is a one component solvent Acrylic Clear Concrete Sealer. SC-130 is designed for use on concrete, masonry, brick and decorative concrete. SC-130 is a high gloss, non-yellowing sealer. SC-130 had excellent resistance against water and dirt penetration. SC-130 dust-proofs concrete by penetrating surface pores leaving a tough durable film.

TYPICAL USE: Recommended as a deep penetrating sealer to cure and protect new and old concrete surfaces from penetration of water, dirt, and effects of freeze/thaw cycles. The resulting tight film helps prevent “dusting” of the concrete, spalling, and deterioration. Excellent for warehouse floors, walkways, tool rooms, manufacturing plants, grocery stores, distribution centers, civic center, sports arenas, concrete slabs, and exposed aggregate patios, driveways and pool areas. SC – 130 is also recommended for masonry and decorative concrete.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface should be sound, clean and DRY. Remove all contaminants, dust, dirt, paint, waxes or other foreign material. Wash floor with a neutral cleaner and allow to dry. If oils or grease are present, use an industrial strength degreaser or detergent for removal. The surface should be rinsed thoroughly to remove any residue. Allow surface to dry before applying sealer.

APPLICATION: Low Pressure Sprayer, Mohair Roller, or Lambswool

APPLICATION TEMPERATURE: 50º F to 100º F

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Apply SC-130 with a short nap roller, low pressure sprayer or lambs wool applicator. Apply a uniform wet film; do not puddle material. Do not cover more area that can be worked in 10 minutes due to fast drying time. Two coats may be necessary depending on porosity or type of service. SC-130 is flammable, keep away from open flame. For safety and product curing, proper ventilation is necessary through out application and product cure.

SHELF LIFE: 1 Year Minimum

PRECAUTIONS: Do not apply to surfaces below 50° F. Substrate should be clean, sound and dry. Any foodstuff in the application area should be removed prior to application. Keep material from freezing. Use only with proper ventilation. Apply a test patch over any questionable surface. Do not use in area subject to hot oil, grease, etc.

CAUTIONS: SC-130 is flammable. Keep away from all sources of ignition during mixing, application and cure. The use of goggles, fresh air masks or NIOSH approved respirators, protective skin cream and protective clothing is a recommended standard practice when applying coating.
